Charlie Allison success for Essex CCC
Another one of our Piri Piri Cricketers, Charlie Allison is the latest to play Professional Cricket!
Ben and Charlie have been working together since Charlie was just 6 years old! Famously from the viral video shot back 12 years ago which propelled both Charlie and Ben on the world stage.
Charlie has had brilliant season with his first few professional games scoring 70 & 80 in the Metro Bank Cup along with a man of the Match Perfromance and then a call up to the England u19 squad.
You may see both Charlie & Ben in a training session together throughout the next few months.
Fozzie coaches at Piri Piri!
James Foster joins us during Winter Coaching
In November, we had a very special visitor! Fozzie delivered a brilliant coaching session, this consisted mainly of catching, fielding and some superb batting advise for the budding young Piri Piri Cricketers.
It was great for the Piri Piri Cricketers to hear first hand some of James' experiences and for him to pass on his knowledge from his days playing for England and Essex.
Catching Competition Time
James led the catching competition and encouraged the young Cricketers to bring out their competitive side! We do enjoy a competition as part of our coaching camps - congratulations to the winners!
Piri Piri in the Community
We have built strong relationships with the local Cricket community. Our continued support of the Minor County Cricket Festival held at RHS Ipswich has been running for the past 5 years.
Every year we present the leading run scorer of the tournament with one of our Piri Piri Cricket Bats. You will see us there on the sidelines supporting our Piri Piri and Gosfield Cricketers.
